Inshore
Hernando Beach is a gateway to hundreds of miles of amazing inshore fishing. Our trips run up and down the nature coast from Hudson to Crystal River depending on the time of year and species we are targeting. We target Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Grouper, Sheepshead, and Snapper to name just a few.
Our inshore trips run within Florida state waters (up to 9 miles offshore) and are fixed cost trips accommodating up to 4 anglers. Whether its catching giant Tarpon on a fly rod, casting top water plugs to gag grouper in the winter, or chasing your PB snook, we do it all and cant wait to share our experience of the nature coast with you.
Offshore
The west coast of Florida provides one of the most abundant fisheries in the world. We are blessed with countess miles of reef, rock, and artificial structures. We use a large variety of tactics depending on the target species, ranging from bottom rigs to pitching live baits to trolling an 8-line spread and everything in between. Your trip will be tailored to use the most effective methods available to catch your target species.
We offer a variety of offshore trips ranging from 6 hours half days trips through 24 hour overnight quests and range from 30 to 120 miles offshore. We provide all the required rods/reels/bait/tackle and special equipment required to undertake your adventure, and our captains will discuss your goals and available (open) target species during your planned trip to ensure you have the best experience possible.
We cater to all skill levels of angler from the beginner who has never fished offshore to our fellow commercial captains from different areas who come to fish the Middle Grounds with us.
